Our vast offshore specification knowledge coupled with our range of profiling and post cutting services gives our customers full confidence to service the Oil and Gas market.

Following a crash in the oil price in 2015/16 it finally seems investment in the oil and gas sector is coming back.

Our core business for almost 10 years was to service the oil and gas market, over this period we became experts in understanding our customer requirements and expectations. Today this knowledge is ingrained throughout the company; all departments know exactly what to look out for to prevent any potential problems that could occur at any stage in the supply chain.

One particular customer had a requirement for a number of subsea panels in offshore grade material, they had to be lumsden ground to size and cut with intricate lettering. We were able to laser cut the outside of the panels and cut the internal letters on our waterjet machine, keeping customer costs and lead time to a minimum. Once our customer had completed their fabrication work they were sent back us to be heat treated in our oven.

It is now encouraging to see positive news regarding North Sea investment, especially for our customers who have struggled during such a dramatic the down turn.
