Heat Treatment

P.P. Profiles (West Yorkshire Ltd) has an extensive Heat Treatment department offering stress relieving and normalising to customer specifications.

We currently house a Gas Fired Bogie Hearth Furnace which is an impressive 4m x 3m x 2.25m high and has a 12 point Eurothern Recorder.

Stress relieving and normalising can be undertaken to a maximum teperature of 1050 °C. Soak times and ramp rates are available to your requirements and we can also supply Heat Treatment charts upon request. We have the facility to carry out this process up to an impressive 10 tonnes.

We Offer an overall service in conjunction with our CNC profiling department or the Plasma/Waterjet department of our sister company Springfield Stainless.

Let us cut your items from stock and heat treat them to your requirements.

Alternatively our transport department can arrange to collect and deliver fabrications, jigs, fixtures, pipework, dished ends for Heat Treatment on a sub contract basis.
