The Project

In early 2018 we replaced our two Oxy Fuel machines with a single track multi head cutting machine. This allows us to keep cutting whilst plate is loaded and unloaded.

We invested this heavily for a reason, to handle jobs of this scale. We bought plate in rolled to size in order to reduce waste and keep our customers costs to a minimum. We were then able to dedicate 1 of our machines to the job, leaving the other to focus on our day to day business preventing any increase in lead times to other customers. The project was complete on time giving our customer enough time to machine and fabricate at their end.
